Speedy Rides Again

The Blackwell family girls all learned to drive on Speedy. She was a Black 1956 Bug. She became a flower power beetle as we decorated her with flowers inside and out. She managed to survive driver training for three teenagers and took them everywhere in Victoria and Kamloops. She finally expired when her speedometer turned over and was put to rest in a Kamloops scrap yard. Many fond memories remain. |
